Nice place to spend the evening

Some great views of the Hudson river in the evening. Would definitely recommend when the skies are generally clear.

There’s some watersports facilities nearby so it looks like you can rent kayaks on calmer days. Winds around here can get fairly strong, so definitely wear a windbreaker on autumn and winter days.

Beautiful! Anywhere on the Hudson is beautiful. This park is user friendly!
Housing for kayaks and canoes. Little tables and chairs everywhere. The ferry. Plenty of places to stretch out or run with a kite. Love!

Magnificent place for art lovers!
One of the best installation art museum in the world. I studied art, installation art as well, Love it! Always inspiring ~ my kids love it too! I am glad that I can show them different forms of Art!

I love visiting this museum! Unique and interesting exhibitions at a beautiful space with lots of natural light. You can go over the museum in a couple of hours and have time to enjoy the outdoor garden.

Excellent food my wife loved her grilled cheese sandwich. I had a tasty philly cheese steak and fries. The server was attentive and was helpful. The only complaint would be the patrons were seated to close. Otherwise I would return for some great food.

Nice lil secret gem to launch a kayak if you’re physical enough. If so, it’s a quick way to pollopel island( bannerman’s castle) but be aware of tides. The creek you launch out of is tidal and dennings bay gets shallow, but plenty of wildlife to see, including bald eagles.

Beautiful park with a variety of trails. You can see the waterfall (shorter trail) or walk along the marshland.

We visited Mt Gulian for a wedding this weekend and it was lovely. The site itself is very beautiful during the fall and you can often be surprised by wildlife, like turkeys or deer. The Dutch Barn has a great history and is a fun, rustic spot for all kind of gatherings.

The property is small, but it’s a nice place to walk around a little and take a tour of. Nice for picnics. Make sure to make reservations ahead of time if you go for a tour 🙂 a little piece of Revolutionary War history

Parking lot itself is great. Good amount of spots and there are porta potties. The trail itself is intermediate to advance depending on how you want to go. Becareful and pay attention. There are a lot of unmarked trails that one can easily take and turn into and end up lost.

The trails are completely out of maintenance. Erosion is in full effect. A great place to find full meaning within yourself. if you reach the top.
