Such a great place to visit if you love trains & history. A small museum but packed full of interesting memorabilia. Definitely worth visiting. Conveniently located on the Dutchess Rail Trail. Nice day trip, visit museum, walk the rail trail & then go to Daddy O’s Restaurant, also on the rail trail, for a bite to eat.

We use this as a starting point for the Dutchess Rail Trail. The parking area is excellent with clean handy rest rooms to use at the beginning and end of our trek. Have never been inside the Depot. It seems always to be closed.

It’s a Fabulous Historical Train Station to Visit! Lots of History to learn about the Hay Days of few Railroads that Stop at the Junction. Such as New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad and the Lehigh & New England. Now, There are Trails that you can Walk & take your bicycle on, in which is very Relaxing. Although there’s no Railroad movement of any kind! So, if you Into Watching Trains or photographing, or Videoing it. You’re Fresh out of Luck!!!!🚂🚂🚂🚆🚆📷 🎥
