I can not recommend Merritt Bookstore enough! I have had the pleasure to interact with multiple employees and everyone of them has been so helpful and nice it’s made my day better. The website is the best one I have seen for browsing books as well as ordering them. I hope to one day go in person.

The staff is amazing. There is a very wide selection of books. The store is also full of fun and interesting novelty items and cute toys for children. There are also educational toys for children. The atmosphere is very laid back and pressure free. I make sure to visit every time I am in the area, whether I purchase anything or not.

Collection is okay but a bit lacking and dated; “quiet study” areas are positioned right underneath extremely loud fans that, despite their incessant noise, do absolutely nothing to cool down the incredibly hot & humid building. Unless you actually want a frustratingly loud study place that might not have what you need and will make you sit in a pile of your own sweat in order to study, I’d recommend another library.

The interior and style are all lovely to be sure, and it’s nice to see a young, neighborhood watch business doing well, along with good people. These are all reasons to support.
But what’s counts of course is their work, and JWatch + Brooklyn Watch Shop is the only independent operation I actually trust. It’s that simple.

This place is like walking into another era. Their setting and decor is vintage and lovely. They repair and restore high end time pieces, but they are not too snobby to take your cheap but sentimental pieces under their care too. Their staff are always so friendly and helpful. They understand that you are bringing in something with a lot of emotional value, and they do their best to protect it for you. For this reason, and for their superb workmanship, I don’t go anywhere else when I need something repaired.

My fiancé and I were on a leisurely stroll through Millbrook and stubbled across this phenomenal shop!!! They were so sweet and allowed us to freely walk around, even though they were about to close. They didn’t rush us in the slightest. I’m literally in awe of this shop and I cannot wait to come back and purchase more!!

I went in for a checkup and got new glasses ordered. This was before Christmas. Here we are 7 weeks later and I called to inquire about my new glasses, and found out they hadn’t even been ordered yet. They claimed it was a problem with my insurance, yet no one from the doctors office or insurance company let me know? No. They just didn’t order my glasses.and when I asked about this they said “we will get right on it”. Now a week later I can’t get ahold of anyone. I am not happy.

I love this practice! When I first came to Millbrook Family Eye Care I was living in a temporary situation about 30-40 minutes away. Now, I live a 90-minute drive from there, but I decided to stay with them instead of looking for another doctor because I was so happy with the care I got there. I love that the staff is made up almost entirely of women. Everyone in the office is so friendly, patient, and helpful. I previously had the same eye doctor for over 20 years where I used to live, so it means a lot to me to have found a practice where I feel so at home. They are worth the drive! I highly recommend them!

The Stewart’s Shops I went to on Route 10 outside of South kortright was a larger store with more items that I’d ever seen before. They had an extended section of already made sandwiches and items to go that were hot. Lots more pizza choices than other Stewart’s. They had a fresh sub sandwich station. Where the employees can make you Subs fresh for you right there. I’ve never seen that before. They also had a lot more Hot Products in the tubs like macaroni and cheese and soups and chili Etc. The store employee was very helpful who went and got me ice cream that wasn’t out in the front. I would definitely come back to the store
